Overview
Mr. Anil Jain’s entrepreneurial journey is filled with tales of hard work and resilience. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Mr. Jain lives by his motto of ‘manna manna hai’ which reads as ‘saying no is forbidden or never say no’. It was this entrepreneurial spirit that led to his humble beginnings in the world of business. Mr. Anil Jain’s enterprising story began in 1979 as a 16 yr old, starting with a modest printing company and later co-founded a video renting business called ‘Manoranjan’.
Being a serial entrepreneur, Gangwal Chemical began an initial proposal to start a chemical business from his neighbor. His vision to serve humanity led him to establish the Gangwal Foundation, a philanthropic initiative that provides education to 700 underprivileged school children.
Gangwal Group, founded by Mr. Anil Jain, is now one of India’s largest contract manufacturers of Wellness products, sports nutrition, daily essentials, and probiotics. Building on technological innovations, the Gangwal Group has established itself as India’s leading manufacturer of nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals.
Overview of Gangwal Chemicals
The journey of Gangwal Chemicals took birth in June 1986, when Mr. Anil’s neighbor shared a proposal to start a chemicals business as partners with a vision for providing innovative products and services for rapidly growing pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and personal care sectors in India. In January 1987, Gangwal Chemicals Pvt. Ltd was incorporated with a mission to serve with quality innovation. In 1992, Mr. Anil Jain co-founded S A Pharmachem Pvt. Ltd along with his childhood friends Sunil Kabra and Suresh Deora. In 2002, Mr. K C Jain, (Anil Jain’s father), a renowned pharmacist, joined Gangwal and the company began focusing its efforts on supplying high-end pharmaceutical products. Mr. K C Jain’s six decades of hands-on expertise in pharmaceuticals, research, and development, projects, and production in association with leading MNCs and a major pharmaceutical company.
Gangwal Group today comprises of distribution of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, industrial and textile chemicals. The group manufactures pharmaceutical actives and excipients, micronutrients premixes, probiotic blends, small-volume tablets and capsules, nutrition sachets and powders in jars, protein bars, spray drying, micronization. Under their services, the Gangwal group oversees public testing lab as GLAS for analytical and methods development, research, and development lab approved by DSIR for developing novel delivery formats and substituting imports.
Mr. Anil Jain’s Gangwal Group is now one of India’s largest contract manufacturers of Wellness products, sports nutrition, daily essentials, and probiotics. Gangwal Group is proud to have a patented technology called DICOM®, which eases the production process of Pharma formulations due to their expertise in the area of nutraceuticals and manufacturing. Innovations like these have established the Gangwal Group as India’s leading manufacturer of nutraceuticals/pharmaceutical products. In 2021, Gangwal Healthcare was launched with a keen focus on becoming a global healthcare company through continuous innovation, building quality, and competence.
